When You Feel The Call To Sing:

Song of the Soul

In this introduction, you’ll:

  • understand why the voice doesn’t fully open

  • experience a simple shift in your sound

  • learn the core blocks that hold people back

  • see what it looks like to develop this step by step

I also offer a 3-session container for those who feel called to open their voice in a deeper way — but aren’t yet ready to commit to a longer program.

Song of the Soul: Opening the Ceremonial Voice — Six-Month Container

A structured path to help you open your voice and confidently carry ceremonial song.

Focuses exclusively on helping spiritually-oriented practitioners open their voices and sing ceremonial songs with confidence and fluency

A program that:

• Uses a proven six-stage system — the Embodied Ceremonial Voice Method — to open the voice and build true musical fluency through the body, breath, and melodic language of ceremonial song

• Trains you to use your voice as a natural instrument, improvise melodies fluently, understand the structure of ceremonial song, and sing in response to the energy of a space

• Brings together people aligned toward the same goal: becoming a clear, confident channel for ceremonial song

• Is led by Eric Marjan (Isa Nita), a musician and ceremonial voice facilitator, with occasional guest contributions from experienced practitioners

• Focuses on real-time practice, feedback, and integration — not just consuming content alone

• Feels like a supportive, intimate space to grow your voice while developing real skill, confidence, and musical fluency

The moment many people experience in ceremony when a song begins to arise—and why it often doesn’t come through

The phases the voice moves through as it opens, and where most people get stuck

The key blocks that prevent the voice from flowing (in the body, breath, and mind)

What it actually means for the voice to be grounded, musical, and connected to the space

How melodic intuition develops—and how to follow a song without losing it

Why this work unfolds over time, and what it takes to stabilize your voice in real situations

How it works:

  • Ongoing group sessions and guided practices

  • Structured lessons covering body, breath, and musical foundations

  • Progressive work with melody and traditional forms

  • A private space for integration and support

This is a small container (limited to ~16 people) to allow for depth, attention, and real development over time.

The Origin Story of Song of the Soul

I’m Eric (Isa Nita), a musician, facilitator, and voice guide

I’ve spent years working with voice in both musical and ceremonial contexts and helping people develop a deeper, more embodied relationship to their sound

Over the last eight years, my path with plant medicine has unfolded in ways I never expected.

Early on, something became very clear to me in ceremony: the plants wanted me to sing.

At first it was a little intimidating. I didn’t fully understand what was happening. But the melodies were there — moving through my body, rising with the sensations of the medicine. It felt as if something deeper was trying to come through.

Fortunately, I already had a background as a musician and singer. That foundation helped me trust what was happening and follow the melodies as they appeared.

As I continued working with the medicine, I began to understand something that many people only discover slowly: the voice is one of the primary instruments through which the plants work.

When people think about dieta or plant medicine work, they often imagine the purging or the physical cleansing. Those things are part of the process. But the work is happening on many levels — physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual.

The voice touches all of those realms at once.

Over the years, I had the privilege of working within several medicine communities and participating in hundreds of ceremonies. During that time, I was invited to sing in ceremony regularly, sometimes several nights a month. Through that experience, I began to witness how specific tones, melodies, and vocal placements could shift the energy of a space, support the medicine’s work, and help guide people through difficult or transformative moments.

The plants were teaching through sound.

And something else became obvious.

Many people who walk the path of plant medicine feel the call to sing — but they don’t know how to open that channel.

Some feel blocked by fear or past experiences with their voice.
Others sense melodies inside but don’t know how to express them.
Some sing comfortably but feel stuck repeating the same patterns.

What I began to realize is that opening the channel for medicine songs isn’t only a mystical process.

It’s also a trainable skill.

The voice is an instrument of the body.
And like any instrument, it can be developed.

Through my background in music, somatic awareness, and years of ceremonial experience, I learned how to hear where the voice is open and where it is blocked — how tension in the body shapes the sound, and how breath, resonance, and emotional presence all influence the way a song carries medicine.

Over time, the connection between dieta and the voice became clearer and clearer.

Your dieta often wants to express itself through sound.
But most people were never taught how to open the instrument that allows that to happen.

That realization is what led me to create Song of the Soul.

This program is designed to help people on the plant medicine path unlock their natural singing voice, develop the musical foundations that support icaro melodies, and cultivate the confidence and presence needed to allow songs to emerge through them.

Because when the voice opens, something profound happens.

The songs that are meant for you begin to find their way through.

And when that happens, your voice becomes not just an expression of yourself — but an instrument through which healing, guidance, and connection can flow — to live a life that is truly centered within your soul’s unique purpose.
